Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cACI Online Learning Centre\u201d, \u201cCanadian Airports Online College\u201d, \u201cDuty Free World Council Academy\u201d and &#8220;Klayo&#8221; are services operated by Ceventas Pty Ltd (ABN 66 128 878 811).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected as a result of your participation in services provided by Ceventas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may make alterations or additions to this policy from time to time. Should we do so, we will update this policy on our web site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We require that all our customers and users agree to abide by our Privacy Policy as part of our terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. What information do we collect?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ceventas collects different information about you at different times. There are two broad categories of information that we collect from you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Information we require to supply our services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you sign up for Ceventas services, or when you make an inquiry about our services, we may request personal information such as your name, company, seniority, position, address, telephone number, email address and credit card details (if you are paying online).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6. Personal information stored on our systems<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ceventas and its service providers will have personal information stored on servers due to the nature of the services we provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This information may include training records and competency attributes including knowledge, skills, abilities, competencies and other relevant workforce capability data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This information will be kept strictly confidential, unless we are required to release the information by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7. How we collect your personal information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only information we collect is what you provide to us or which you have, expressly or by implication, agreed we can collect from authorised third parties in order to enable your participation in the services we offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By participating in Ceventas services and by voluntarily providing us with information about yourself, you are consenting to our use of that data in the manner described in this policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. How do we use personal information we have collected?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We collect and use your personal information to deliver our services to you. We will use your personal information to provide you with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Access to our systems and software<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information on new courses and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sales and Technical support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product upgrades<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9. Direct marketing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you use our services, you consent to the receipt of direct marketing material. We will ensure that those contractors are bound to protect your personal information to the same standard that we are.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify the source of new customers for Ceventas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and address complaints, other feedback, and to resolve disputes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the case of credit cards, to bill you for services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain a technical and account history of your dealings with us, and to re-establish your account with us where you rejoin as a customer within six months after having terminated your account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor your compliance with our Terms of Use and other terms and conditions of our service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ceventas uses the services of MailChimp and as such personal data will be transferred and processed by MailChimp when consent to receive promotional material is given. We will disclose your personal information, without notice or your consent, only if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>We are required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to conform with the laws, applicable code of conduct or legal process served on us in relation to our business or web site<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To protect and defend the rights or property of the Ceventas or Airports Council International.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If we consider it necessary to do so in order to enforce or apply the terms of any of our agreements with you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If we sell our business or part of it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In extreme circumstances, to protect the personal safety of users of the Ceventas\u2019s services, its web site, our staff or the public<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you graduate from the Airport Operations Diploma Program (AODP) or the Certificate in Airside Safety your name and airport may appear in an ACI\/OLC communication channel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You may stop the delivery of promotional email from Ceventas at any time by following the specific instructions in the email you receive. These instructions will tell you how to remove your name from our subscription list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10. Cookies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we collect personal information from you via our website, we may use digital cookies to remember your preferences and collect online traffic data and browsing characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Internet cookies are small strings of text placed on users&#8217; hard drive during the data exchange that happens when a browser points to a website. Disclosure of personal information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By using our service\u2019s you agree that your employer and\/or airports at which you work may have access to your training records including courses enrolled, completion status, dates of enrolment and completion and your final assessment scores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your personal information may be accessible by other authorised users of the service such as training and compliance amanagers. Your information will not be available to anyone that is not an authorised registered user of the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may have cause to disclose personal information to our service providers who assist us in operating our computer systems.&nbsp; Your personal information may also be exposed from time to time to maintenance and support personnel acting in the normal course of their duties.&nbsp; In the event that we outsource part of our infrastructure, it is possible that the entity we engage for this purpose may also have access to your personal information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subject to the foregoing, we only use your personal information in a manner consistent with the original purposes of collection or as otherwise permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles (or, where and to the extent applicable, the GDPR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>12.
